Gopulu CHARACTER Sketches

Gopulu a phenomenon in tamil art world is my Adharsam. I am ever inspired by his immortal creations.

In his illustration for Devan's Mister Vedantam, his sketch of ParthaSarathi PerumAL of Triplicane can be mistaken for Amarar Silpi's work. Had Gopulu attempted it seriously we would have had another Raviverma. Here I have attempted to capture the caricatures  he drew in Anadha vi kadan magazine
