Wonderful idea to start blogging. There are not many bloggers who blog about the topics that you do. Will serve as a fine reference.
A couple of suggestions. Though the image form of tamil is universally compatible with all kinds of browsers and OS, it is a difficult read. Try ekalappai and type in tamil. It's transliteration based and not tamil keybard based. Easier to type. You could add a link to the image file too to solve compatibility issues.
Though blogger is good, try www.wordpress.com Gives you more freedom and options.
